We live adjacent to the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area in Hedgesville West Virginia.
The 22,928-acre Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area (WMA), ranges across forests of oak, pine, and hickory that mount the parallel flanks of Third Hill and Sleepy Creek mountains and the valley of the Meadow Branch of Sleepy Creek.
On Saturday, 8/31/2019, we hiked to Devils Nose which is a unique rock out cropping that overlooks Meadow Branch Creek gorge. The outcrop is more than 75 yards long.
